As Senior Account Executive, Katie brings a strong understanding of strategic communications strategy, media relations, influencer relations and digital media solutions.

She is currently involved in developing and executing strategic communication plans, media relations campaigns, and a variety of special projects. Her sharp understanding of the media landscape offers innovative solutions that support clients through crisis situations, including strategy and message development.

Prior to joining Parris, Katie worked for an ad agency where she developed cross-channel communications programs for a broad range of industries including consumer goods, information technology, banking, and healthcare.

Katie is a graduate of University of Arkansas, having earned a degree in Journalism with a double emphasis in Public Relations and News Editorial. She has earned awards from the Society of Professional Journalists for outstanding breaking news coverage and editorial writing.

A native of the Kansas City community, Katie is passionate about public service and promoting equity for women in leadership. In her free time, she is watching documentaries, reading the next Reese Witherspoon selection or hanging out with her big Irish family.  She is an avid SEC football fan and proudly calls the Hogs any chance she gets (Woo Pig).
