Kelly has deep experience developing strategic public relations and marketing communications solutions for clients in a broad range of industries including healthcare, banking and finance, commercial real estate, renewable energy, consumer goods and services, and higher education.
As Vice President for Parris, she supports day-to-day operations and represents a wide range of clients including AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, Savion, Commerce Bank and QuikTrip, among others. With COVID-19 impacting every client and community, Kelly has spent much of 2020 developing messaging and communication plans, and guiding communication strategy on their behalf.
Kelly’s areas of expertise include strategy and message development, crisis management, media relations, event planning, consumer relations, public issues management and internal communications. She brings a strong client service mentality to Parris, and her clients can vouch for her responsive and dedicated approach.
Kelly’s work in events management, integrated communications, media relations and crisis communication has been recognized by the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America every year since 2005.
Among her honors, she has led Parris Communications’ team efforts which have earned multiple PRISM awards over the years. She was an integral part of the account team which accumulated more than 310 million media impressions for the Cambria Cove product launch, a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards.
Additionally, her work guiding integrated communications for the National Transportation Review Board was awarded a gold PRISM.
Kelly is a 2019 graduate of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Program, and currently serves on the AdventHealth Shawnee Mission Living in Vitality Steering Committee.
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication at the University of Missouri-Columbia. A native of the Kansas City area, she loves cheering for the home team. Kelly and her husband are proud parents of two young daughters and one fur-baby they lovingly refer to as “The Roxinator”.
