Pam Kramer

Vice President – Strategy & Brand Engagement

Pam has extensive and broad-based experience in communications, marketing and advertising, having served in a variety of positions with Sprint for more than 18 years and as an executive consultant to the Kansas City Chiefs for four years. Pam uses her unusual combination of creative and analytical skills to help clients develop communicating and branding solutions that deliver business results.

Her roles at Sprint included assignments in the company’s local, long distance and publishing business units and in corporate brand management. She directed all national advertising, including brand positioning, national television creative, strategy and production, regional advertising efforts and communications with Sprint’s customer base.

During her career with Sprint, Pam was responsible for several highly-visible and successful efforts including advertising featuring actress Sela Ward, media spending of more than $200 million and management of Sprint’s sponsorship of the National Football League. In 1998, she was one of two recipients of the Sprint Chairman’s Award, given at the discretion of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, for her efforts to negotiate Sprint’s unprecedented branding on the NFL coaches’ headsets, generating millions of dollars in brand exposure for Sprint. The agreement created a new sponsorship category at all levels as it was quickly copied by colleges, conferences and college bowl games. She also directed the brand development and brand launch of EMBARQ, the company created when Sprint spun off its local division as a result of its merger with Nextel.

The Kansas City Chiefs called on Pam’s marketing and communications experience to help lead the team’s business-side public relations, community relations, charitable giving and corporate citizenship efforts.  Pam was a trusted advisor to Chiefs ownership and executives and was proud to lead the team’s response to the 2011 Joplin tornado, coordinating disaster-relief drives, player and staff trips to Joplin and interaction with state and local officials and agencies. In addition to communications and messaging for business initiatives and the team leadership, in 2011, she stepped in to manage football public relations including efforts around the 2011 NFL Draft. She continues to cheer the Chiefs and all of Kansas City’s teams!

Pam earned her Bachelor’s at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas and served the college on its Board of Directors and as President of the Alumni Association. She and her husband Kevin co-chaired the annual Benedictine College Scholarship Ball in 2006 and 2007 and the Notre Dame de Sion Gala in 2013. They are actively involved in their parish, Church of the Ascension, and Ascension Catholic School. She is also committed to the work of Catholic Charities, serving as the Chair of the Snow Ball Parish Initiative and a member of the Snow Ball Patrons Committee. She and Kevin are the proud parents of two daughters, Claire and Libby, and live in suburban Kansas City.
